Task 2
For this task i want to keep in with the style from the sculpture before, so i am going to create i larger version of it with more petals added on to create different layers and effects.
I am not going to add any coloured cotton onto this sculpture as i want to develop it more by adding layers of petals.
I am going to take a number of different images from different angels to use for my poster.

Task 1
From looking at my different research and what i have created in my workshops with Richard Sweeney i feel i want to create something different, by using different paper materials to create my flower sculpture.
Paper labels interested from doing my research i worked out if you pinched one of of the label it creates a petal i thought this looked very effective and started to create a number of petals to put together to make a flower shape by gluing each end of the petals to join them together. I then wanted to create another layer to add onto the flower shape i have created already, so by playing with the labels i came up with the idea of trapping the string of the label in between the pinch at the end of the petal which then folded the label over which looked more like a flower. I am going to glue the two label flowers i have created.
I want to create a centre of the flower which i am going to use paper cake cases to scrunch up and then glue a number of them together to make a flower shape. This idea i got from some of the research i have done, this technique looks very effective and different from using normal paper. I am then going to glue this in the middel of the two flower shapes i have made to create a centre point to the flower. To blend the white cup cake case centre flower into the other flower shapes i am going to glue in some mini scrunched up cup cake cases around the side of the flower sculpture.
My sculpture is finally coming together but i think it needs a bit more colour so i am going to add some bright pink cotton which is going to be weaved in ad out of the sculpture.

Eloise Cor Danch
Eloise Cor Danch paper flower designs are very popular and she has a lot of different clients she work for. Eloise is a freelance artist who lives and works in New York City. Eloise first focused on painting and illustration, her skills then moved onto paper sculpture as well as product, prop, set and graphic design.

Research
This research is out of a book called "playing with books" it teaches you how to create a certain flower which is very cleverly made out of paper.

I like the way these flowers have been created each petal has been done separately and glued in the middle.
My Chosen Theme
From what i have done already in the workshops i've noticed that from the shapes i have created a lot of them could form into different parts of flowers. So for my chosen theme i am going to base it around flowers as i feel it would have a wide range of focus, i could use different paper materials to form the parts of the flower. I am going to look at different designers that have worked with paper flowers and also what creations different people have came up with how to make paper flowers.

In the workshops Richard Sweeney showed us his different works that he has created out of paper, he showed us different techniques how to get the effects he does with paper.
