Using my descriptive word 'craft' i am going to make teacups using paper mache.
- I cut out a template of the size i want my teacups, which includes the teacup, handle and bottom. I copied it four times onto cardboard (cereal box).
- I cut out the pieces.
- I first used the main part which is the long teacup i folded the teacup so the bottom sections met together i did one at a time and taped it together around the bottom.
- I joined all the sections and taped the inside and out to form a teacup shape.
- I taped the bottom base onto the teacup.
- I covered the teacup in paper mache by using wall paper paste and newspaper.
- I then left the paper mache to dry and then added another layer to make the teacup stronger.
- I then covered the handle in paper mache.
